  1. JSDoc Autocompletion / Intellisense parsing

    Basic JSDoc support has been added, but it would be really nice if upon typing /** the basic structure of the JSDoc was created. For a function, this would mean adding @param tags with the argument names based on whatever parameters the function has.

    In addition, it would be helpful if the Intellisense for JSDocs worked more like XML docs Intellisense. Specifically, if it was able to bold the relevant @param tag in a JSDoc as you're filling out a function signature.

    Lastly, the JSDoc intellisense currently includes the * character that normally precedes each line of a JSDoc. I…

    • better angular support

      We need better angular support in VS. Especially a better connection between js/ts files and the html.

      Just look what webstorm does.

      • Better support for JavaScript intellisense when using module loaders

        VS 2013 has been getting better and better in terms of JavaScript support, specially in the world of intellisense. Unfortunately we are not quite there yet and VS can become confuse when it comes to Module Loaders like RequireJS.

        For example if i have a module like this:

        define(["jquery"], function($) {
        //VS doesn't have any context that $ is still jQuery and hence it loses intellisense.
        });

        I propose to give some context to VS by mapping parameters to references using the reference syntax already used by VS. For example:

        define(["jquery"], function($) {
        /// $ = <reference path="lib/jquery-2.1.0.js" />
        });

        • TypeScript Bundling... Please!!!

          We have CSS and JS bundling (thank you!), now please can we have TS bundling that works just like JS bundling. It should also support source maps + minification!

          Thank you.

          • Obfuscate javascript.

            You already have awesome combining- and minification-features in your CSS- and JS-bundle functionality, but I would love to have an option to obfuscate the javascript. It would enable developing and testing with nice, long and descriptive variable- and function-names, while really cutting the size of the code after obfuscation and minification!

                    • TypeScript: bring back option to add .js and .js.map files to project automatically

                      Whilst I totally agree that .js and .js.map files should be regarded as project output and not be added to Visual Studio projects and checked into source control, for SharePoint projects the .js and .js.map files need to be added to the WSP to be deployed to the SharePoint site and they will only be automatically added to the WSP if they are added to the Visual Studio project first.

                      So please bring back the option to have .js and .js.map files added to the project automatically and dependent upon the .ts file so the .js and .js.map files appear…

                            Bundles are great, but i have to resave it everytime i've made a change. Would be nice to put the .less file directly into it as well. But solving the resaving part will make it awesome.

                              • coffeescript intellisense

                                not only for coffeescript keywords (although that would be nice), but more importantly for the other libraries (like we have when writing JavaScript files). Coffeescript makes writing JavaScript so much easier and more pleasurable, but not having any intellisense washes away much of the benefit.

                                  • Browser Link Support for Content Security Policy (CSP) HTTP Headers

                                    Currently Browser Link uses inline JavaScript which causes Content Security Policy (CSP) violation errors. CSP requires external files to be used for JavaScript and CSS. If you don't know what CSP is see here:
                                    https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/CSP/Introducing_Content_Security_Policy

                                    As it is, If the user is using CSP then browser link is disabled as inline scripts cannot be run. Please use external files, which will allow us to use CSP in conjunction with Browser Link.

                                      • Convert CSS to LESS feature

                                        I have an existing web application project. I would like to convert my current css into less format. Would you consider to add a context menu on the solution explorer that provide a menu item called "Convert to LESS". Then this menu item can add a new *.less file with the same filename as this css file and group these two file as just a less file.

                                        • Intellisense support for named parameters in LESS

                                          I would love to see intellisense support for named parameters in LESS. So a mixin like: .box(@width:100%, @height:100%, @margin:1em) could be called like: div { .box(@margin:2em);} with intellisense and no warnings.
